It all started with a very exclusive invitation. The Epic Hotel and their Catering Sales team hosted a wonderful and relaxing getaway for a small group of local wedding planners. As soon as I got the invitation, I RSVPed right away with a big YES! My husband and I arrived on Saturday, September 17th and we got to spend 2 nights in this beautiful room at the EPIC Hotel. Look at that view!
Upon entering our room, the EPIC Hotel staff made us feel welcomed with a cute welcome gift!
The first night we had wine hour at the EPIC Hotel lobby and then an amazing presentation with the senior Chef and mixologist at the Lilt Lounge. How yummy do these look?
This is where I got to meet the amazing team that hosted this wonderful getaway and also all the wedding planners that were invited.
The second day, we had a Power Yoga class in the morning at Exhale Spa. It was such a great and empowering class! We also received another thoughtful gift!
After yoga we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Area 31. Some of the ladies went to the pool where they were offered massages, mani's & pedi's. I, on the other hand, was heading up for my hair & make up appointment. YES! Hair & make up with the talented Naivi! I was stoked! (Naivi was my hair & make up artist for my wedding). It was so nice to get pampered!
After my hair and make up appointment it was time for my professional head shots with Rodrigo Varela. Here's what they look like! No serious ones for me! Lol!
Sunday night we met the wonderful team of AKUA. They are an event design company based in Puerto Rico, making their way to Miami. We participated in a team building exercise where we made our own floral arrangements.
Following our team building exercise, we were taken to the main ballroom where we were treated to an extraordinary seven course meal (I think it was 7, I lost count!) The ballroom was beautifully decorated with flowers, greenery, gorgeous decor from Elements and Accents, and perfect lighting designed by AKUA.

The next morning, the hubby and I woke up and hit the pool. We wanted to take full advantage of our stay!
I want to give a special thanks to Lourdes Ramos, Catering Sales Manager and her team for the most wonderful weekend! The Epic Hotel is the perfect boutique hotel to host your wedding in the heart of Miami. Providing superb service, exquisite hospitality, and amenities that will leave you saying, "This is EPIC!"

It was awesome being part of this incredible weekend surrounded by so many amazing industry colleagues. This was an experience that I will always remember!
